Privacy Policy

Panda Apps Lab built the Thalassa: Live Ocean app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Panda Apps Lab and is intended for use as is.

Location

The app may ask for access to your device's Location. This is optional, and the wallpaper works without it.

Your coordinates are used strictly on your device, to calculate precise solar and lunar positioning for the dynamic wallpaper, and are stored only in the app's private storage. We never collect, transmit, sell or share them. The only location-related information that leaves your device is whether you granted the permission at all, recorded as “precise”, “approximate” or “denied”. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your device's settings.

Usage and Performance Data

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Performance Monitoring to understand how the wallpaper is configured and how well it runs on real devices. This data is about the app, not about you: your chosen settings (each recorded as one of a few fixed options, such as ocean colour or quality level), which features you use, and technical performance measurements such as frame rate, refresh rate and app stability. Google also collects standard technical information for any app using these services, such as approximate country, device model and app version.

We do not collect your name, email, or any account information — the app has no sign-in. We do not collect your Advertising ID or your Android ID; collection of both is explicitly disabled in the app, because we show no advertising and sell nothing. We do not collect crash reports, photos, files or any other content on your device.

This information is linked to a random identifier generated by Google, not to you, and is reset if you clear the app's data or uninstall it.

How the Data Is Handled

This data is processed by Google on our behalf and stored on Google's servers, which may be outside your country. It is transmitted encrypted, retained for 14 months, and then deleted automatically. We do not sell it, do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, and do not use it for advertising or profiling. We use it only to improve the app.

The app has no in-app analytics switch; uninstalling the app stops all collection.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes.
